Natural citrine grows in points like a normal clear quartz variety and has a very slight transparent champagne yellow to honey colour. Often, dark orange ‘citrine’ is actually heat treated amethyst and therefore not citrine at all. 

Our high quality citrine is authentic natural citrine, and abrupt temperature changes can cause the crystal to fracture. To avoid colour fade, please keep your citrine out of prolonged exposure to intense light.
